Legal Counsel
Support sound business decisions through legal analysis, governance, contracting, and risk awareness.

Purpose and responsibilities.
Legal Counsel supports the firm’s corporate, contractual, governance, employment, vendor, and regulatory legal matters. The function works with business leaders, compliance professionals, and outside counsel to identify legal issues early and support practical, well-documented decisions.
Contracts & Agreements
Review, draft, negotiate, and organize agreements involving vendors, service providers, employment, technology, and business relationships.
Corporate & Governance Matters
Support entity, governance, policy, authorization, and other corporate legal matters affecting the firm.
Regulatory Legal Support
Work with Compliance and outside advisers on legal interpretation, regulatory developments, and business implications.
Issue Management
Help identify legal risk, document decisions, coordinate outside counsel when appropriate, and support resolution of complex matters.

- J.D. and applicable bar admission for attorney roles
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Experience with financial services, corporate, employment, contracts, privacy, or regulatory matters can be valuable
- Ability to communicate legal issues to non-lawyers
- High standards for confidentiality, documentation, and professional judgment
