About Our Division

The Division of Operations is central to Global Advisers. The division partners with all other divisions to manage risk, enable daily transactions, and enhance the firm’s reputation and business interests.

The division focuses on specific areas that require regular attention, each of which play a vital role in supporting the firm’s growth and development. We look for talented and creative people from all academic backgrounds that demonstrate excellence across multiple disciplines, a strong interest in financial services, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of efficiency.

The Work You'll Do

In Operations, you will apply your skills across several key areas of the firm, including capital markets, technology, financial report, and operations design. This will require you to act as the front-line of the division to enable all of the firm’s businesses and supports the life cycle of a trade by partnering with clients and other divisions to mitigate risk and provide excellent client service. You will also need work with cutting edge analytical tools and engineer solutions to address operational challenges, plan and execute change programs and create new financial operations capabilities to drive efficiency, improve client service levels, and reduce our operational risk, and create financial models and manage the division’s metrics to enable informed business decisions and improve the economics of our business.

Interested in this Division?

We actively recruit talented people from all academic disciplines. Internships range from four to ten weeks and can lead to full-time job offers. With some exceptions, all new hires start as an Associate, an Analyst, or an Intern. We usually hire Directing Managers internally. All of our positions offer the opportunity to learn about the firm, its culture, and the financial services industry.
