Global Research

Discovers and analyzes new global
investment ideas

About Our Division

The Division of Research strives to provide current, accurate investment and financial markets research. Our research takes a top-down approach by looking at macro-conditions in the U.S. and global economy, domestic and international politics, and regulatory issues that have the potential of affecting the financial markets.

Rather than focus on specific equity or company research, the division produces economic, political, regulatory, industry, and sector research. We look for analytically-minded people from all academic backgrounds that demonstrate excellence across multiple disciplines, a strong interest in financial services, excellent writing skills, and knowledge of the global financial markets.

The Work You'll Do

Global Investment Research analysts help the firm’s investing clients achieve superior returns through differentiated investment insights and ideas. Our clients include individual investors, mutual funds, hedge funds and pension funds, among others. You will likely be assigned to more than one research section, which might include conducting original research on equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. You will also work on broader topics such as the international economy, global politics, industries, and sectors.

Division of Global Research is located at 60 State Street, Boston, MA 02109

The People We Hire

Our analysts possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and demonstrate a unique ability towards statistical analysis. They are detail-oriented, and strive to produce the best results for our clients.

The Investment We'll Make

We help our people grow professionally, starting with their orientation and integration into the firm and continuing with ongoing development over the course of their careers. From ongoing feedback to diverse leadership programs, we’re committed to empowering our people to drive their own development and expand their horizons.
