Employee Benefits Consultant
About the Role
Global Advisers is seeking a Employee Benefits Consultant in Greenwich, CT to advise employer clients on employee-benefit strategy, plan evaluation, renewals, implementation, and employee communication while coordinating health and ancillary-benefit resources. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate employer benefit objectives, plan design, employee needs, cost considerations, and renewal options.
- Coordinate carrier and platform proposals, implementation, enrollment, and ongoing service.
- Prepare client comparisons and decision materials that clearly explain tradeoffs.
- Support employee communication and education initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate compliance-sensitive benefit workflows with appropriate specialists.
- Develop employer relationships and identify opportunities to integrate retirement, insurance, and financial-wellness services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Three or more years of employee benefits, insurance brokerage, benefits administration, or related consulting experience.
- Applicable life and health insurance licensing or ability to obtain required licenses.
- Strong project management, client-service, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage renewal timelines and multiple stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with group health, dental, vision, disability, life, and ancillary benefits.
- Experience advising small and middle-market employers.
