About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Equity Research Associate in Cambridge, MA to support fundamental equity research through company analysis, financial modeling, valuation work, earnings review, and thematic research. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain company financial models and valuation frameworks.
  • Analyze earnings, filings, industry data, competitive positioning, and management commentary.
  • Prepare research notes and investment-thesis updates.
  • Track catalysts, risks, estimates, and valuation changes across assigned coverage.
  • Support portfolio managers with company-specific and sector analysis.
  • Maintain accurate research records and source documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • One or more years of equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, or related analytical experience preferred.
  • Strong accounting, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple research priorities around earnings and market events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA® program participation.
  • Sector-specific expertise or experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Python.
