About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Financial Planning Associate in Berwyn, PA to prepare and maintain comprehensive financial plans and planning analyses for individuals and families, working closely with advisors to turn client information into clear recommendations and implementation priorities. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Build and update financial plans covering cash flow, retirement, taxes, insurance, estate considerations, education, and major financial decisions.
  • Analyze planning assumptions and identify gaps, tradeoffs, and implementation priorities.
  • Prepare client-ready planning summaries and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate data gathering and follow-up with clients and advisor teams.
  • Maintain accurate planning records and document assumptions and recommendations.
  • Support ongoing plan monitoring as client circumstances and markets change.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in financial planning, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • One or more years of financial planning, wealth management, tax, accounting, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and handle sensitive client information.
  • Interest in a long-term career in financial planning or wealth management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFP® coursework, CFP® certification, or progress toward the designation.
  • Experience with financial-planning software and CRM systems.
