About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Investment Research Analyst in Atlanta, GA to produce rigorous investment research that supports portfolio construction, security selection, and the firm's broader market views. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Research companies, industries, asset classes, and market developments using fundamental and quantitative methods.
  • Build financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario frameworks.
  • Monitor earnings, economic data, policy developments, and market-moving events.
  • Prepare concise research notes and investment-committee materials.
  • Maintain research datasets and clearly document assumptions and sources.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and strategists to test investment conclusions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Ability to form independent views while incorporating contrary evidence.
  • Strong writing and attention to factual accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA® program participation, advanced degree, or prior investment-research experience.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Python, R, or SQL.
