About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Investment Strategist in Boston, MA to develop asset-allocation views, portfolio themes, and investment communications that connect market research with practical portfolio decisions for advisors and clients. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Translate macroeconomic, market, and valuation research into portfolio implications and asset-allocation recommendations.
  • Prepare investment outlooks, strategy notes, advisor briefings, and client-ready market communications.
  • Evaluate equity, fixed-income, cash, and alternative investment opportunities within portfolio objectives.
  • Work with portfolio managers and research professionals to test assumptions and monitor risks.
  • Support advisor teams during periods of market stress with concise, evidence-based analysis.
  • Maintain clear documentation of investment views, risks, and changes in conviction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Four or more years of investment strategy, research, portfolio management, or capital-markets experience.
  • Strong analytical writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex market information into clear portfolio implications.
  • Strong command of investment concepts, valuation, and risk.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA® charter or advanced degree.
  • Experience presenting investment views to clients, advisors, or investment committees.
