Portfolio Implementation Associate
About the Role
Global Advisers is seeking a Portfolio Implementation Associate in Fort Washington, PA to support portfolio implementation across client accounts, including model changes, rebalancing preparation, cash needs, trading coordination, and post-trade review. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Prepare portfolio rebalancing and implementation work under approved investment guidelines.
- Review cash balances, restrictions, tax considerations, and account-specific instructions before implementation.
- Coordinate trade execution workflows and verify completion with operations and custodians.
- Investigate portfolio exceptions and reconcile differences between intended and implemented positions.
- Maintain documentation for model changes and client-specific implementation instructions.
- Support portfolio managers with recurring analytics and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of investment operations, trading support, portfolio administration, or related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of portfolio construction, account restrictions, and rebalancing concepts.
- Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to execute detail-sensitive work accurately under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Schwab Advisor Services, Interactive Brokers, portfolio rebalancing systems, or model portfolios.
- CFA®, CIMA®, or related coursework.
