About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Berwyn, PA to manage client portfolios and model strategies within the firm's investment process, translating capital-market views, research, risk parameters, and client objectives into disciplined portfolio decisions. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Manage portfolios and model allocations in accordance with investment objectives, risk parameters, liquidity needs, and approved strategy guidelines.
  • Evaluate asset allocation, security selection, portfolio concentration, income requirements, tax considerations, and implementation tradeoffs.
  • Review portfolio performance and risk, identify deviations from intended exposures, and recommend changes when warranted.
  • Collaborate with research, wealth management, compliance, and operations on investment implementation and client communication.
  • Document investment rationale and contribute to investment committee discussions and model-governance processes.
  • Support advisor teams with portfolio analysis and market context for client discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of portfolio management, investment research, asset allocation, or related investment experience.
  • Strong understanding of public markets, portfolio construction, risk, and performance measurement.
  • Advanced Excel and investment-analytics capability.
  • Ability to make well-supported decisions and communicate investment reasoning clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA® charter or progress toward the CFA® designation.
  • Experience with fixed income, ETFs, separately managed portfolios, or model portfolio governance.
