Portfolio Operations Analyst

About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Portfolio Operations Analyst in Washington, DC to support portfolio accounting, reconciliation, performance reporting, corporate actions, and data integrity across managed client accounts. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile positions, cash, transactions, and performance data across systems and custodians.
  • Investigate data breaks and coordinate corrections.
  • Support corporate actions, income processing, and account-level portfolio records.
  • Prepare recurring operational and performance reports.
  • Maintain controls around data imports, mapping, and exception handling.
  • Work with investment and client-service teams to resolve portfolio-data questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, data, or a related field.
  • One or more years of portfolio operations, accounting, performance reporting, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
  • Understanding of securities transactions and portfolio data.
  • High attention to accuracy and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with portfolio accounting or performance-reporting systems.
  • CIPM®, CFA® coursework, or accounting experience.
