Private Client Advisor
About the Role
Global Advisers is seeking a Private Client Advisor in Los Angeles, CA to manage and grow relationships with individuals and families seeking coordinated investment and financial-planning advice, combining responsive service with disciplined relationship development. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery and ongoing financial-advisory conversations.
- Coordinate investment, retirement, insurance, tax-aware, and estate-planning needs with appropriate specialists.
- Develop new relationships through referrals, professional networks, and prospect activity.
- Maintain accurate client records and follow through on commitments.
- Communicate market and planning information clearly without overstating certainty.
- Escalate complex investment, legal, tax, insurance, or compliance issues to appropriate resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Three or more years of financial-services, advisory, relationship-management, or business-development experience.
- Series 65 required at hire or within the period permitted by the firm and applicable law.
- Strong client communication and relationship-development skills.
- High professional standards and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFP® certification or progress toward the designation.
- Life and health insurance licensing where relevant.
