About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA to design, develop, test, and maintain secure software that supports the firm's advisory, investment, recruiting, publishing, operations, and client-service workflows. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement reliable web applications, APIs, integrations, and internal tools.
  • Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
  • Write tested code and participate in code review, release management, and production support.
  • Integrate third-party platforms while protecting data integrity, access controls, and auditability.
  • Diagnose defects and performance issues and implement durable fixes.
  • Document architecture, dependencies, deployment procedures, and operational controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of software-development experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and experience with web applications, APIs, databases, and version control.
  • Understanding of secure development practices and production change management.
  • Ability to work directly with nontechnical business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PHP, JavaScript, Python, SQL, WordPress, Azure, or financial-services technology.
  • Experience in regulated environments or with sensitive client data.
