About the Role

Global Advisers is seeking a Strategy & Business Management Director in Jersey City, NJ to drive cross-functional planning, performance management, strategic initiatives, and execution across the firm's growing advisory and investment platform. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Translate firm priorities into measurable initiatives, owners, milestones, and management reporting.
  • Analyze business performance, capacity, economics, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional projects spanning investment management, wealth management, technology, operations, compliance, and growth.
  • Prepare executive decision materials and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, KPI development, and strategic reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Seven or more years of strategy, finance, business management, consulting, financial services, or related experience.
  • Strong quantitative analysis, project leadership, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple functions.
  • Strong judgment and orientation toward measurable execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wealth management, asset management, fintech, consulting, or financial-services strategy.
  • Strong financial modeling and management-reporting capability.
