Systems Administrator
About the Role
Global Advisers is seeking a Systems Administrator in Westport, CT to operate and support the firm's business technology environment, including identity, endpoints, Microsoft 365, cloud services, access provisioning, and user support. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Administer user accounts, access rights, devices, Microsoft 365, and core business applications.
- Resolve technical issues and document repeatable support procedures.
- Support onboarding and offboarding with timely access provisioning and removal.
- Maintain endpoint, patching, backup, and configuration controls.
- Assist with vendor coordination and technology inventory.
- Escalate security or reliability concerns promptly and participate in incident recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Two or more years of IT support, systems administration, cloud administration, or related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and identity/access administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work with confidential and security-sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certification or experience with Entra ID/Azure AD and endpoint management.
- Experience supporting financial-services or professional-services organizations.
