Retirement Plans Consultant
About the Role
Global Advisers is seeking a Retirement Plans Consultant in King of Prussia, PA to advise employers on retirement-plan design, investment oversight, participant outcomes, service-provider coordination, and ongoing plan governance. The role is designed for professionals who can exercise sound judgment, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy, client service, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Support plan sponsors with retirement-plan design, investment review, benchmarking, and governance.
- Coordinate with recordkeepers, TPAs, custodians, and other plan-service providers.
- Prepare investment and plan-review materials for fiduciary committees and business owners.
- Support participant education and financial-wellness initiatives.
- Monitor service issues, plan changes, and implementation deadlines.
- Develop new employer relationships and coordinate broader business and executive planning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Three or more years of retirement-plan consulting, recordkeeping, investment advisory, employee benefits, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of 401(k) plans, ERISA concepts, plan investments, and plan-service models.
- Strong presentation, client-service, and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage detailed implementation and governance work.
Preferred Qualifications
- AIF®, CPFA®, CFP®, or other retirement-plan credential.
- Experience with small and middle-market plan sponsors.
